Minutes
Alpha4
Apps team will need more time for email, couple of days at least
Dashboard (as of alpha4) will be in, minus recurring event architectural issues
Stamping as annotation: Grant's status not clear at that point
Sharing URL issue (Morgen): we can't use the ticket that Chandler publishes in Cosmo. Some discussion going on on the "Magic URL". Meeting on Monday @11am to review all the possible solutions. Likely to be punted (of too big). Could sneak it in alpha4 if lucky.
Bear in vacation next week, Heikki filling up for him
Conclusion: we'll be late by a couple of days, need to wait Monday to get better data from Grant and Morgen before posting a clear final date
Alpha5 and beyond
Philippe adding tasks to alpha5 and alpha6. 0.7 Release is just a parking place.
What about after alpha6? Alpha6 is the Preview. We need 6 weeks of debug before going live so, working backward from end of March, that means that alpha6 code freeze needs to be mid February. We need to cut features early (now) so that we secure this. Potential candidates: user def attribute, labelling, iMip, accessiblity.
Build
We have one wx box (Mac) running but without visualization
Bear fixing the static IP and VNC issues with IT
Functional Tests
Lots of problems with Tinderbox since a week. Running the tests is becoming more difficult. We need to address that.
Proposal for the network failure from Heikki
Logs : making them easier to navigate
Disable tests on Flickr parcel temporarily
Need a discussion on dev on this. Philippe to start it.
Release Management
Heikki made progress on the doc. We have 3 docs currently that are embryons of that.
