Alpha2

Code Completion assessment

Issues with background sync, recurrencing items especially. We need to rewrite the merging piece (Andi). Background sync is on hold. Also, lots of other stuff not really tested (e.g. stamping).

We can punt the feature to alpha3 or hold the release.

Sheila is concerned about the impact on the overall schedule if we punt, especially considering the sync up with Cosmo and format sharing. For sharing format, we could do the Chandler part of things in alpha3 and have Cosmo do its part in alpha4 (Morgen).

Consensus: move background sync to alpha3, do a shorter alpha3, shifting features around if necessary.

Number of Bugs

Looks like May 11th is fine. We'll review the remaining alpha2 bugs tomorrow 11am.

Consensus: how do we feel about the current schedule?

Code complete will be Monday (waiting for David wxColumnHeader to land). For RC, we'll likely push the bits on Tuesday after the sprint week.

Alpha3

• Performance targets. Heikki and Sheila to converge. We need a sample data set and related scenarios.
• Cosmo sync.
• Internationalization, CPIA dialog boxes, need to work out details with Brian and John.

wx Plan

• John will be the Bugzilla owner
• Bugs will be shared between Robin (Windows, Linux), Reid (Mac, Linux) and John
• We'll change the wx build implementing Robin's proposal. Need to work out the details with Bear and Robin during the sprint week.
• We'll also change the SVN structure to move wx to its own repo and move it to external too (again, following Robin's proposal)

Jed

• John will be owning the Styles since it's closely related to CPIA
• Minical and Preview will be shared between Jeffrey and Alec

Sprint Preparation

• Meetings are all in the office calendar
• Katie: summary for the sharing format
• Mikeal: Wiki on functional tests
• Katie: End to end testing (Chandler through Cosmo)
• Philippe: owns the agenda for CPIA and Build meetings
