0.7Alpha2 status

• The bug count is still pretty high but we had quite a few closed today.
• We may need to punt some of these by the end of next week.
• Still have 3 pending features
  • Wx column header
  • Background sync
  • Markup toolbar
  • Calendar interop and a few bugs
• Need to go through and prioritize some of the remaining bugs.
• Grant has a list of hard to reproduce regressions - qa might be able to help.
• Andi can have a look at the repository issues.

• Wx tarball integration status
  • Not finished yet
  • John has been working on this - trying to isolate when the problem.
  • Tarball 36 worked but it doesn't at 39.
  • Branched from 36 - known working point but calling it 40.
  • A bunch of changes went in by John, Reid for Chandler that we wanted in alpha2...so we created 41, then 42.
  • At the same time, on branch 39 he is checking revision by revision to try and isolate the bug.
  • Need a summary on the list

• Stamping spec/design
• Scheduling - hooking up the backend stuff
• Sharing improvements

  • Performance - based on performance targets
  • Grant - CALDAV free-busy, recurrence performance and bugs

• Sheila preparing more comprehensive summary and will reference Katie and Philippe's lists.

Spring Sprint prep

• Write functional tests
• Need to have a discussion on build issues
• What do we do going forward with wx since David is leaving. What implications does this have on the build system.
• CPIA stuff.
• Meetings to schedule

  • Lightning talks
  • Time for test writing
• Aparna would like a dedicated span of time for writing tests.
• Dan and Mikeal will support the team from a QA perspective.

Interns and Summer of Code

• Still interviewing PPD interns - 2 on the list
• Interviewing Cosmo candidate - Philippe
• No pending qa interns.

• Ted sent out email.
• Need a description of projects and need to identify mentors.
• Grant is interested in being a mentor.
• Come up with a list of projects, short description then a list of mentors
• Encourage some people who would be good at this.
• Katie and Philippe will discuss with team members, then people can volunteer on the list.
• This needs to be completed by May 1st.
