What’s New in Cosmo 0.5
The Scooby project merged with Cosmo project. This will help remove complexity from the technical infrastructure which simplifies maintenence and allows developers to add new features faster.
Integrate support for remote databases via Hibernate. This will allow Cosmo to use a relational database for storage and query.
Navigation
There is a miniature calendar available in the left navigation. You can view two months in advance and navigate the main calendar using the miniature calendar.
You are now able to jump to a specific date using the ‘Go to date’ also located on the left navigation.
Managing Events
Users may now view and create daily, weekly, monthly or bi-weekly recurring events. You can also modify events within the recurring series.
Visual Polish
After the merge, we’ve updated the product logos to Cosmo. There are a few visual tweaks made to create a more consistent feel with Chandler, but only where it makes sense as a web application. Similarities between Cosmo and Chandler include the following: similar fonts, a visual cue to show working hours from 8AM - 6PM,
If you are running an earlier version of Cosmo, you will not be able to preserve any of your existing data.
