• Progress
  • Worked on running sharing operations in background threads.
  • Started on the implementing a CalDAV free-busy REPORT for zanshin.
  • Updated zanshin to work with the latest Twisted (r13651).
  • Read about half of the Fogel book.
  • Prepared for, and participated in, CalConnect interop (Provo, UT).
  • Fixed a couple of raises that came up during interop testing.

  • Released setuptools 0.6a9, including a change to address certain improper in-the-field use of the Requirement constructor method
  • Implemented rough draft of shared library support for setuptools, with testing on Windows/Cygwin and Linux, and research into LD_LIBRARY_PATH issues on Linux/Mac
  • Discussions to work out plan for egg support in Chandler 0.7

  • Enhance setuptools to be able to download single .py files (e.g. feedparser, Amazon API, etc.) and turn them into eggs automatically
  • Add egg loading support to the parcel loader
  • Add a test menu item to allow requesting an automated download-and-install of a parcel or other egg(s)
  • Begin migrating demo parcels (feeds, amazon, flickr, etc.) to separately-distributed egg parcels
  • Finish shared library support for setuptools

  • Moved lots of stuff from the midwest, so it can sit unattractively in boxes in the middle of my bedroom (i.e., vacation)
  • Talked about and wrote up 0.7 recurrence plan summary

  • Update vobject in advance of PyCon (it's 6 weeks away and I want to make several changes before working on my talk)
