• QOTF:
  • Mikeal - hiring people
  • Jared - time based releases; cut alphas earlier; don't lock ui and server alphas together
  • Brian - things will naturally speed up now that we have the big infrastructure items out of the way
  • Matthew - having all the merge stuff done will help a lot
  • Mikeal - making sure that we don't have dead time - people waiting for stuff to do.

  • then add about 2 weeks for testing (Mikeal's number)
  • have a bunch of folks out at Calconnect 9/26-9/29 which may impact things

  • a status check turned into a bigger conversation where it became clear that we were still not in agreement

  • Merge Scooby/Cosmo content into Cosmo Home wiki page. Waiting for feedback for first draft.
  • Work with Ted on Cosmo planning. Create more accurate time estimates/dev might have questions on stickie plan features.
  • Need to follow up with updating the Scooby 0.3 specs to Cosmo 0.5 - starting this week.
  • D/F file bugs for Chandler based on D/F notes.

  • Continue working with Ted/Sheila on Cosmo planning and roadmap.

  • Still working through the punchlist of non-developement tasks, sent it to the list and updating my progress

  • Developed testing framework which can run identical Cosmo performance tests on any set of svn revisions, retroactively to previous versions (in case a given test wasn't in the tbox tests for instance)
  • Prepared a relatively authoritative performance report comparing last JCR Cosmo to latest post-Hibernate-merge Cosmo
  • Contrib minor patch to kiloprop
  • Got osaf.us certificate purchased
  • Flesh out osaf.us placeholder site; move to proxying to cosmo-demo instead of scooby-demo
  • Pushed back most roadmap stuff past Hosted Service M2.
  • Updated Cosmo sticky plans with pre-Preview admin/hosted-service features
  • Proposed "at least one admin sticky per alpha release" plan to ProjMgr/ProdMgr/EngMgr; seems like basic consensus.
• Plans
  • Preview sizing plans: Get to 1) a target Preview number-of-users; 2) a test which approximates the load of N number of users; then 3) an estimate of number of servers required at Preview. If >1 server needed, ensure multiple-db and multiple-app features are pre-Preview features
  • Install osaf.us prototype VM server into colocation facility
