Cosmo Magic URL Storyboards Take 2

Assumptions

In the interest of simplifying functionality for Preview, PPD is proposing that we completely divorce the Magic URL-Preview-and-Subscribe workflow from normal Cosmo UI login. This means:

• If you click on a ticket for a collection you are not subscribed to, Cosmo does not log you in automatically.
• There is no way to log-in on the Preview screen. (We could make it so that if you click on the Cosmo logo, you go to the standard Cosmo log-in page.)

Workflow

1. Helen the Hub sets up a shared collection and sends ticket to Casual Collaborator (CC)
2. CC receives the ticket in their email and clicks on the ticket URL
3. CC can preview and edit (if the ticket was a read-write ticket) the shared collection and is presented with 4 options

CC can now do 1 of 4 things:

1. CC can subscribe to collection and add it to their Cosmo account
   • CC logs into their Cosmo account or signs up for a new account (If user is already logged into Cosmo, SKIP and GO STRAIGHT TO NEXT STEP.)
   • CC is subscribed to the share and logged-in to their Cosmo account; OR
     • Note: CC can still subscribe to collection with Chandler, iCal or as a Feed after they've logged in.);
     • Note: Priss is working on a proposal for the chrome design, which would include subscribing to shares with Chandler and iCal, or as a feed. What I have in the mockups are just temporary placeholders.
2. CC can subscribe to the collection and add it to their Chandler desktop client; AND
   • CC is taken to an instructions page that gives them the right URL and explains how to subscribe in Chandler; OR
3. CC can subscribe to the collection and add it to their iCal client
   • CC is automatically taken to iCal's subscribe dialog; OR
4. CC can subscribe to the collection as a feed.
