  • had discussion on process with Tom Zellerbach, Orrick trademark attorney, he is doing a full US search on Chandler
    • Jared is point on negotiating chandler.org and chandler.com acquisition,
    1. securing the chandler.org domain was prohibitively expensive and we will not pursue that
    2. contacting the owner of chandler.com to see what that will cost
    3. secured chandlr.com, chandlr.org, and chandlr.net just in case we decide to use the brand spelled without the "e"
    4. we are meeting on Monday to review the situation and to discuss and alternative variants of Chandler or alternative brand names.
  • Sent email off to the OpenOffice.org community manager Louis Suarez-Potts re. registering domains (need to decide which ones including which countries)
  • started bugzilla punch lists for upcoming dot release web work

  • user list idea: solicit "demo gems" (record script and send to Pieter to compile)
  • Preview "beta" Pieter will write up questions for Ted re. scope/goal for the "beta" users later today 1/19/2007
