Community Working Group Meeting 14 December 2004
Discussion
Ducky is leaving OSAF. Pieter will take over most of her responsibilities.
We need to think about branding and to launch a significant effort around the time of the 0.5 release.
Pieter talked about demo scripts. Ideally he'd like three:
- end-user demo
- developer dogfood demo (done in conjunction with the PyCon presentation)
- PyLucene demo
Pieter has also talked to Andi about doing a PyLucene sprint at PyCon: Andi is thinking about that and evaluating interest.
Pieter has been talking to WebDAV service providers about providing a home for Chandler testing, two have been interested. Pieter would like to see the Preferences panel improved to have drop-down for the three different testing WebDAV providers. Morgen says it's about a day's work: this sounds like a perfect project for someone in the community.
- Ducky to write a tutorial based on Morgen's servlets.
- Ducky to convert the contributors script to a TWiki plugin. done, posted on twiki.org
