Goals

• Proof of Concept for Chandler's flexible, customizable schema
• Allow users to create syntax that is specifically suited to the content of their work and personal information
• Provide a usable interaction framework for displaying user-define labels

Information Architecture

• Types of Labels
  • Who: Identity attributes
  • When: Time attributes
  • Where: Location attributes
  • What: Topic attributes
  • Value: Quantities, Qualities, Measurements
  • Status: Self-explanatory

How to add labels

• Command /ATTRIBUTE NAME
• ATTRIBUTE NAME: ATTRIBUTE VALUE
• /PROJECT Foo
• /LABEL Foo
• Auto-complete options would be nice

How to assign a type to a label

• All labels are by default, topic or WHAT labels
• Users can right-click on a label to change it's type; OR
• Type in the type with the command: /WHOFIRSTNAME Bob

• Select an item in the summary pane and type /ATTRIBUTE NAME in the command line field
• Adding labels in the Detail view
