We need to add the spec writing as tasks in the 0.5.04 and 0.5.05 timeframe.
Code review process: Philippe posted a doc on this covering the various code reviews. We'll try to keep them light through 0.5.04 since we are already under time constraint for feature writing but we need to schedule some.
Bug model: Philippe to produce a first bug model with historical data.
We need to review the work load for everybody (for the moment, only David and Bryan have been through a complete review). At first sight though (looking at the SWAG), it's clear that we're all over extended for the July 7th date and that we need to push that date by 1 week (July 13th). We'll certainly also have to move some tasks around.
Linux machine update: see Jared's e-mail. We have a Linux machine running Ubuntu, need to ask Jared to install FC4. Bryan gave it a try and the experience was satisfactory: we can run Linux through the X Server and get the X window display on our local machine, we can share a partition through Samba so run our own Chandler Python code without having to copy stuff from machines to machines, debug is possible except may be for perf issues.
wxWidgets: Stefan was there last week. David met with him several times and we had lunch once. We shared concerns on how wxWidgets evolve (or rather the speed of it) on Mac especially. We need to get in the habit of submiting our stuff more regularly and making a renewed effort to be visible in this community.
SVN: use the sandboxes if you want, see Bear's e-mail.
Debug: John has a "Holy Grail" version on Windows (debugging Python and wxWidgets all at once). David working on the Mac version of it with Stefan.
Note from Engineering meeting: Katie signaled that the Schema API is changing. We'll need to upgrade the Blocks. Pje will do this work in a couple of weeks but we need to be prepared, i.e., don't hold big commit while the change is happening or the merge will be painful... Also we need to contact Pje in advance (now...) if we find something potentially very destabilizing in the planned changes.
Intern update: Brendan coming on Monday
Alec and Donn coming back next week too
OSCon: (August 1 to 5) Jed, Philippe, Bryan, John to go
WWDC: David will post his notes / report on the Wiki
IRC Office Hours: QA session tomorrow (Wednesday). Please, participate actively. This can be fun! See Aparna's e-mail.
OSAF Blog: This is new, a little intimidating. feel free to participate, if in doubt, ask Ted for guidance on content and Pieter on technical guidance (how to use)
