John and Ted are continuing to work on item collection/query/monitor/notification issues, we consider these blocker bugs. These changes are not trivial fixes, so they do carry some risk.
Eclipse might be a big win as a cross platform debugging environment, John suggested Jed try this on the mac, see if it is an improvement.
John had some questions about spike -- he'll talk to Phillip, Ted and Andi but needs to focus on .5 issues right now.
We're clearly not at the goal of a one step build process for widgets changes on linux; David is working with bear, Robin and Jed to get minical changes wrapped correctly and in the build.

I checked in some fixes that improve the header buttons. I am not using David's colheader yet. I have a lot of blocking bugs, but most are small, doable tweaks.
I met with Alec to talk about the calendar blocks, and will hand over the calendar blocks to him ... now!.

Also thanks to Alec for suggesting Synergy. It's really, really nice and everyone on multiple machines should try it.
