  • Remote Browsing - Remote Browsing is a type of Trash.SharingGlossary?. In remote browsing, a user receives a URL of a remote item or item collection (or set of item collections in a view). On navigating to this URL and with the appropriate permissions and correct authentication (see Chandler.CanogaSecurityDesign?), the user can browse the remote item or item collection specified by the URL, just as you would browse a remote web site. Remote browsing (as opposed to True Trash.SharingGlossary?) is a transient or short-lived sharing mechanism. Use cases include browsing a public event calendar or a vendor phone directory (you only view such items once or non periodically). Remote browsing can be read-only browsing or read-write "browsing".
